====== AU Midi Generator List ====== The following list gathers AU plugins that generate midi, there are several general types of midi generating plugins: * Keyboards or controller surfaces, mostly MPE but they can be put in non-mpe mode (KB-1, Velocity Keyboard) * Midi modifiers like Autony, Cality, Midi Echo, Mozaic, StreamByter * Pattern / Sequence generators (Rozeta, Atom, StepBud, Fugue, Photon) * Instruments that also output midi (if MPE they need to support non-mpe modes) (Pure Acid, Ruismaker Noir, Hammerhead, Geoshred, iFretless Bass) * Audio to midi generation like FAC Envolver The column **Output Channel** lists the plugins ability to specify the midi output channel and the column **State Save** shows if the midi output channel is correctly recalled(*). Setup a session containing the test candidate, search for the output channel config, change channel to something other than its default and save the session. On session reload, open up the output settings and if it shows the previously set number, everything is fine. For MPE generating plugins you first need to find out, if you can set it up in single channel poly or mono mode and then select the output channel. {{tag>[midi au_midi_fx au_midi_routing list]}}
