Loopy Pro: Audio Unit Extension Folder

As a byproduct of the way that iOS/iPadOS sandbox AUv3 in some versions of the OS, the Loopy Pro AUv3/s folders are not visible in Files app (or other file browsers). Loopy Pro's project browser gives access to that folder.

To make projects visible to the AUv3, use the project browser to move them into the Audio Unit Extension Folder. The standalone app can open and edit files in the Audio Unit Extension folder.

Loopy Pro projects can be moved between the standalone AU versions using the project manager panel that you get when tapping on the folder icon found in the upper-left of the screen. Tap on Projects to see the list of projects. At the top of the list, Audio Unit Extension Folder is shown. Only projects in that folder can be seen by the Loopy Pro Audio Unit (for arcane reasons known to Apple, the system does not allow it to be visible in the Files app). Move folders from standalone into that folder if you want them to be visible to the Audio Unit.

Audio units cannot load other audio units. If moving a project from standalone to the audio unit, remove any audio units first. You can also move projects from the Audio Unit folder into the main project folder. When the Audio Unit is open, it can only see the projects in the Audio Unit Extension Folder.

While the AUv3's storage folder is not visible to the Files app, the AUv3 can import audio files from anywhere that file browsers can see. The two main ways of importing into the AUv3 are:
